Congratulations on your ordination to the priesthood. Very glad to see that you now have full faculties and a better platform from which to speak, “in season and out.” Don’t let the parlous state of the institutional church quench your spirit.

Continue to preach the Gospel of the full forgiveness of sins in Christ Jesus and His atoning death for our sakes with vigor! Years ago I enjoyed the hospitality of Bishop Flemested and his wife in Oslo while I briefly studied in Denmark. How neat to see that he ordained you. As state churches entrench themselves as instruments of apostasy it is incumbent of the remnant to be faithful and to seek ways of expressing true confessional unity. May our dear Lord Jesus strengthen you and your confession of the Truth and may the proclamation of His Word bear much fruit now and unto eternity.
You should know that a Lutheran from Iowa whose Christian faith derives in the patriarchal line from the Church of England is thankful that you are an Englishman with a conscience and a backbone!
