I think one of the hardest things in the Christian life is that of forgiveness. And yet without it where would/will we be? When Erika uttered those words on Sunday, I think it was the most powerful moment on any kind of public forum/domain I've ever experienced. She is a true leader. Charlie would be proud.

A beautiful tribute Fr Robinson, my wife and I are so glad you're in the US now but saddened that you're no longer on GB News. My wife and I, both from the UK, moved to Southern California back in the late 1980's when we were all but kids. You're more than welcome to our humble abode here in Lake Arrowhead, any time. We lived in Austin for about 19 months back at the end of the 90's, it's a great city for food and friendliness. Not a bad combination. Our blessings to you; we're so sorry you lost a dear friend, we both feel we knew Charlie, and in many ways I think we did.

Thank you Father Calvin.

I am so glad to learn that you are still with us in the US.

I agree with what you have written here concerning our faith and your relationship with Charlie.

I especially appreciate your comments about hiring people like us. The pincer move is being attempted here too. We are not and will not be culturally enriched by the evil islamists. Same for the Marxists. All they do is destroy.

God bless you sir.

Thanks for this, Fr. Calvin!

Agreed that we are dangerously polarized as I just wrote after the Dallas ICE shooting.

We are indeed sheep in the midst of wolves. We need to be brave but also be smart and aware of the danger from the Left.

Great article, thank you.

I have concerns about one point: that those celebrating should lose their job. No, that is vengeance. They should be ashamed and repent.

I have been on the job losing side myself. It is incredibly difficult. What was my "crime" that got me fired? I wrote a book that is critical of Islam. It was not anything to do with my workplace, and I had written it in my own time. If we demand that those we disagree with lose their job, then we are no better than those on the left who demand we lose our job for supposed "Islamophobia".

Here is a great video by David Wood on "Islamophobia":

I’m so pleased you decided to speak to the tragedy of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. So many of us needed to hear from you. I too, felt grief, shock and anguish like I’ve never known in all my 65 years. I’m still a bit in a state of shock and disbelief, so your words were of great comfort to me. I’ve followed you for a few years now and I look to you for your wisdom and leadership. So thank you for providing that and a very big thank you for sharing the gospel and allowing us to follow you on your faith journey. I’m a Catholic and I have many, many Protestant friends and sometimes I feel they’re impatient towards or intolerant of my beliefs, but what you said about “we share a common belief in the Gospel, and that is all that matters” really helped me to put things into perspective. We are all brothers and sisters in arms for the Christian faith and it’s time we bolster each other for the battle ahead and grow our army for Christ. It’s time. We have our orders! Thank you for your service Charlie. And thank you too Fr. Calvin🙏🕊️
